Well...I am a little biased because they were one of my favorite couples of 2008. From the moment I met Amanda I could tell she was a compassionate and caring person. Now meeting Frank was another story....business man on the outside, softy on the inside. Frank has a big heart and you could always see a twinkle in his eyes when he looked at Amanda.
Frank and Amanda came to me about 2 months prior to their wedding date with lots of details left to be finalized...from the venue to the decor, they needed some serious help getting their ducks in order and I was more than happy to assist them. They knew they wanted to have a classy and sophisticated affair to share with their loved ones, and I was more than happy to oblige. With a stellar team of vendors on board, Frank and Amanda's wedding turned out to be everything they wanted and more.
On a side note.....
While I don't normally share the personal issues that my couples often times face when planning a wedding, I do think it's important to note that in Frank and Amanda's case they both had more trials and tribulations than anyone should ever have to endure leading up to their wedding day. Frank's mother had grown ill in the process of planning their wedding and about 3 weeks away from their big day we almost had to postpone the wedding because her health had deteriorated even more. Then a day or two before the actual wedding Frank's dad fell and seriously injured himself, leaving him in the hospital and also unable to attend the wedding. Needless to say this was a very tough time for Frank and Amanda was by his side every step of the way.
I strongly believe the love they have for one another is what helped them pull through and make it to the alter.
Here's an email I received from Amanda a few weeks after their wedding:
Hi Michelle,
Thank you for the kind note. I'm sorry for the delayed response. Frank's mother passed and things have been chaotic. Although this has been a sad journey, I'm glad it's come to some closure. We attend her burial tomorrow and move forward from there. On a lighter note, thank you for your support in making our wedding such a very special day. It was so beautiful and we could not have achieved such an event without your help and the help of your staff. We are still receiving compliments on how beautiful the wedding was. Every detail was thought through and executed perfectly.
Thank you so very much!
